Eco-conscious glamping cabins on a working farm in the Yorkshire Dales

Set amongst the rolling greenery and heather moorlands of the eastern Yorkshire Dales, Little Seed Field fits its surroundings like a glove, offering wild glamping in a peaceful corner of a working dairy farm. They have seven snug cabins, nestled amongst boulders, rushes and trees, in an unspoiled landscape owners Joanne and Sean have worked hard to retain; indeed their aim to ensure that 'wild deer, birds of prey and natural flora are disturbed as little as possible' will strike joy into the heart of the eco-conscious glamper.
Inside, the octagonal and individually decorated cabins are surprisingly roomy, featuring beds, bedding, mattresses and a selection of cutlery and crockery. They also have lighting, a kettle, electrical points and a log stove so you can keep nice and toasty on a chilly Yorkshire evening. The outside covered dining area features a fridge, toaster, electric hob and microwave and the nearby amenities building houses wet rooms and a small kitchenette where you can source water and washing up facilities.
We should say there's no WiFi – though that may be why you came in the first place! The location is properly rural and remote, with lots of great walks from the doorstep, including along the fabulous Crackpots Mosaic Trail. After a hard day exploring the beautiful countryside that surrounds Little Seed Field, it doesn't come much better than getting back to your cabin and watching the sunset over the valley below.
