This famous hotel in the bucolic wonderland of the Trossachs and Loch Lomond National Park enjoys a deeply spectacular setting gazing over the seven mile long expanse of Loch Earn. We say famous as a quartet of Liverpudlian musicians once stayed here. Yes, the Beatles really did spend a couple of nights here in 1964. If you’re really keen you can stay in one of the hillside chalets in their footsteps. It’s easy to see what appealed with greenery everywhere, squirrels in the trees and clean fresh Highland Perthshire air filling your lungs. Resident labrador Finn loves it.
You can stay in one of the main building bedrooms, or head up the forested hillside to the nearby chalets, or the spacious Vivaldi's Apartment. Comfortable accommodations come wit Bose radio, vintage CD players, tea and coffee making facilities and en-suite bath/shower rooms. Baths come complete with rubber ducks. Dogs are as welcome here as world famous popstars. You can bring their own bedding with a bed waiting in the room, a bowl too if they need it. Both dog sitting and dog walking services are also available – just ask about their Pet Butler service. There is a canine menu for hungry dogs whilst the newly refurbished “Seasons View” restaurant offers all day dining throughout the year, crossing the spectrum of snacks and salads right through to our rosette menu in the evening. The Tarken Bistro and Terrace opens throughout the year - both are pet friendly. Numerous activities are available at the local watersports centre – you can even follow in the footsteps of the Fab Four and take a boat out for a spot of fishing. Your dog would no doubt be impressed if you brought back dinner. Dogs also love the old railway track behind the hotel where you can walk for miles and miles. Whatever you do that view is the constant joy. Fit for a rock star and, of course, your prized pooch.
