This long-standing beachside favourite overlooking buzzy Avon Beach has been given a makeover inside and out. It now has a fashionably revamped interior and a more varied menu. Old favourites such as the substantial cooked breakfasts remain, but are now supplemented by a classy lunchtime and evening menu. Lunchtime options include a charcuterie selection, garlic prawn squewers, ciabattas or fresh fish of the day, best downed on the terrace facing the beach. In the evening it's a little more formal, with the menu featuring the likes of steaks, moules frites, glazed duck breast and prosciutto wrapped chicken. The new takeaway hut also serves sandwiches and snacks during the day, which you can enjoy on decking right by the beach. Wherever you sit, you're guaranteed a sea view.
