Family-friendly hotel café-bar, with plenty of space to slouch on sofas around the wooden tables, reading the papers or enjoying the sea views. Beer is from the local Whitstable Brewery and there’s a decent wine list too. The simple menu, not available at all times, takes in the likes of burgers, mussels and fish & chips. It's nothing too fancy but it doesn't need to be and with such a great location it's a very conventient place to head. Set below Whitstable’s largest hotel, accommodation is also available with smallish but well equipped rooms some of which have splendid views across the beach and out to sea. Family rooms are also available.
