Ingleton Pottery
Bank Bottom Ingleton North Yorkshire LA6 3HB
A long-established family business – tucked amongst the cottages under Ingleton's viaduct – making attractive, hand-thrown stoneware pottery. You can peek over the shelves into the workshop (though pre-booked tours and demos for groups are available), and chat with the potters, who can talk you through their methods using historic glazes, some dating back to the seventeenth century. It's a great place to pick up sets of goblets or beakers, mustard pots, jugs, casserole dishes, preserve jars, lampstands or anything else for the home you can think of.
