The Baraset Barn
Pimlico Lane Alveston Stratford-Upon-Avon Warwickshire CV377RJ
The Baraset Barn would be one of Stratford's finest dining experiences ....... if it was in Stratford. As it is, it's one of the best places to eat within a five-minute car journey or half an hour's walk, and is thoroughly worth the jaunt out of town.
Four miles east of the town centre, this beautiful barn conversion restaurant, with its attractive outdoor terrace and lovely indoor dining area, offers beautifully presented and excellent food, served by attentive and friendly staff. A fixed price two or three course menu is available Monday to Friday lunchtimes, and early evening (6.30-7.30pm) Monday to Thursday (2 courses £13.50, 3 courses £16.00).
A la carte menu includes a classic selection including the likes of Roast rack of lamb, gratinated potatoes, pear, sprouts, serrano ham, cream and garlic and beer battered cod and chips. Other menu options include a good range of steaks, a constantly changing fish and seafood board and some creative vegetarian options (the butternut, sweet potato, red pepper & kidney bean chilli, wild rice, guacamole, sour cream and nachos are to die for whether you're veggie or not!).
