Avon Boating have been hiring out small boats on the river Avon for over 100 years. They have self-drive motor boats, punts and rowing boats, and they can can be hired from the Boathouse, the Marina or next to the Chain Ferry. There’s over 3 miles of beautiful river to explore and lots of landmarks to check out from the water; and if you the idea of a rowing boat but not rowing, you can a “waterman” to do the hard work for you. Or, for a really luxurious river trip, consider a trip on an authentic Venetian Gondola.
