A quarter of a century after its founding, Leeds’ film festival goes from strength to strength. It has a huge programming range, from art-house to documentary, cult horror to short films, big budget to experimental, with screenings at venues across the city. Perhaps most exciting are the movies shown on the large screen in opulent Victorian surroundings at Leeds Town Hall, including the opening gala performances.
