This large aquarium on the banks of the Firth of Forth is one of Scotland's premier family attractions. The split level sight houses myriad fish tanks on its ground level, with everything from piranhas to poisonous frogs, while outside the star attraction are their seals. Delve down to the subterranean level and you enter the 'Underwater Safari', a massive aquarium you navigate by moving slowly along a 112m long walkway, the largest of its kind in Europe. Dubbed by many visitors the 'Shark Tunnel' huge sharks glide menacingly overhead and there is the option to book a dive with these leviathans. Accompanying the sharks are everything from rays to catfish and on to conger eels.
