Pods, cabins, modulogs... they go by all sports of names but the most popular glamping unit is often a custom-made one: wooden pods and cabins in all kinds of shapes and sizes that vary from fairly basic shed-like structures with minimal comforts to semi-permanent, cosy and very comfortable structures where no expense has been spared and luxury is guaranteed. Most UK glamping lodges and pods come with proper beds, light and heat; some have cooking facilities; a few come wit hot tubs, their own bathrooms and so many luxuries that we hesitate to call them glamping at all. All of these places, though, offer a close-to-nature experience you won't easily forget.
