St Ives’ Porthmeor Beach has – like its neighbour Porthminster Beach – been awarded blue flag status (although you only need to peer into the crystal clear waters to see just how clean they are) and is a popular surfing beach. Seasonal lifeguards. Seasonal dogs ban May–Sept, 8am–7pm.
