While there’s plenty of trendy restaurants in St Ives and it’s fast becoming a foodie Mecca for West Cornwall, most of the pubs in town are simply made for drinking. So it's a relief to find a down-to-earth pub that serves top quality, locally-sourced grub – think local fish and seafood, burgers and other pub classics. The calibre of the food might suggest this place is a restaurant, but with its rustic decor and relaxed bar, this is most definitely a pub. And unlike some of the stuffier dining rooms in town, dogs and children are welcome too.
