For those looking to bring out their inner Tarzan, Go Ape is just the place. The roof of this lush, green forest is a zig-zagging junction of tree-top high wires, tricky crossings (using ladders, walkways, bridges and tunnels made of wood, rope and super-strong wire) and wind-in-your-face zip wires – great for the young and young at heart alike. You don’t have to be a seasoned explorer to enjoy a Go Ape experience. Budding adventurers are trained up and kitted out by expert instructors before being let loose to monkey around in the tree tops for up to three hours. For fresh air, exercise and a certain amount of adrenaline-filled activity, it takes some beating.
