This characterful café-restaurant in the long-defunct Holmsley station building has retained many of its original features, while old station relics can also be seen in the garden/patio. Well known for its cream teas, the Station House also does a fine range of meals, from cooked breakfasts to soups, salads and fish and chips. The Holmsley rarebit is delicious – and the cake counter a joy to behold after a busy day's cycling or walking in the Forest.
