Walsingham Abbey & Gardens
Common Place Little Walsingham NR22 6BP
Stretching down to the River Stiffkey, the shattered ruins of Little Walsingham’s medieval abbey give the flavour of just how important a monastery this once was. The ruins are in the middle of lovely landscaped gardens, which are at their prettiest in February when snowdrops burst into bloom. Entrance to the abbey is through the Shirehall Museum of local history.
