Let off some steam at the beautiful Port Meadow, great for flying kites, getting close to cows, seeing foals, ducks and more. It makes for a classic Oxford Sunday out: soaking up the distant views to the dreaming spires, taking a circular walk following the west side of the meadow, having a swift half at the Perch, and carrying on to the Trout Inn – about an hour from south to north. Warning: this place floods, it’s a water meadow and is supposed to!
