St Mary The Virgin
High Street Oxford OX1 4BJ
For the most spectacular view of the dreaming spires, St Mary’s tower is the one to climb. You’ll see the round Radcliffe Camera as well as many colleges and quads below you – more than making up for the fairly run-of-the-mill interior of the church. You may have to wait to climb the tower as space at the top is limited. The Vaults café, attached to the church on its northern side, is a winner, too.
