Lambs
12 Sheep Street Warwickshire Stratford-Upon-Avon CV37 6EF
Situated in one of the town's oldest buildings, this Sheep Street restaurant is a big favourite amongst locals, retaining many original features including the open beamed ceilings and serving a menu based on locally sourced and seasonal produce that changes regularly but is consistently superb.
Main menu includes a melt in your mouth slow-roasted lamb shank with glazed carrots and creamed mash, or for veggies, deep-fried Goat’s Cheese salad of roast beetroot, chicory and walnuts. Ooooh, and if you like a good sticky toffee pudding, look no further!
They have a set two (£12.50) or three (£16.50) course menu available for all sittings.
Bookings recommended – it's close proximity to the theatre makes it a popular choice for pre theatre eats.
