A family business, operating next to the Holiday Inn in the centre of town, Bancroft Cruisers offer 45-minute river cruises on the River Avon with on-board guides. They have two lovely boats and if you’re on Rita Ellen you can enjoy a cream tea or a glass of wine as you take in the view from the river. Some of Stratford’s most famous landmarks, including the RSC Theatre and Holy Trinity Church are best viewed from the water and the cruise takes you down a lovely stretch of the river.
