A great gastro pub, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner – bagsy yourself one of the outdoor tables with views of the Bancroft Gardens, canal basin and theatre, and just watch the world go by. If you don't need breakfast but are feeling a little peckish, take advantage of their free toast with coffee offer before 11am. The bar snack and restaurant menu is available all week, and they host a whole array of special nights – steak and wine suppers on Wednesdays, Fabulous Fish Fridays, etc, when you can eat very reasonably indeed.
