King's Wark
36 The Shore Leith Edinburgh EH6 6QU
This is a cosy, and refreshingly unreconstructed boozer on Leith's trendy Shore, perfect for salty auld seadogs, packed to the gills as it is with full of sturdy old wooden tables, granite walls and barrels of rum, plus some of the best, unpretentious pub grub the city has to offer. The full menu is only available in the separate, small and often fully booked restaurant area, but what the hell, it's as good a place for a pint as you'll find.
