An essential stop for anyone interested in whisky or getting hold of something different in the line of Scotland's most famous export. Much of what's available in this small and rather unprepossessing shop is whisky, bottled direct from the cask and therefore quite distinct from mainstream offerings where even single malts are blended and standardised to create uniformity behind a familiar label. Special bottlings, minatures, whisky from defunct distilleries and quirky one-offs are their stock-in-trade, and tastings (or nosings, as they're known in the business) take place regularly.
