RYA Scotland are the go to guys for getting out on the waters sailing in Scotland. Scotland is one of the world’s finest sailing destinations and there is not much RYA Scotland don’t know about sailing these often testing waters. They offer everything from a very basic introduction to dinghy sailing and tuition for school groups, right through to organising serious races for experienced skippers and their crews. They can assist in gaining all the necessary qualifications too. In recent years they have become more involved in organising group flotilla trips, which are a great way to get sailors who might normally stay in the relative safety of inshore waters out to tackle bigger challenges, such as sailing from Scotland’s west coast out across the Irish Sea to Northern Ireland.
