Situated in a glorious rural location in the heart of Ceredigion, these fabulous pods are the creation of West Wales' latest pair of corporate escapees, Mark and Dawn, whose dream it was to open the ultimate UK luxury holiday destination for glampers. They did exactly that, with bells on, winding up in a beautiful nine-acre site close to Cardigan Bay, with three unique self-catering 'LodgePods' that take glamping to a new level.
There are three Pods in all, each named after a pop icon – Beatles, Queen and Madonna – and vintage-themed to the nth degree, with each LodgePod representing a different musical decade. Coolly furnished and very smart, they all come with a rainfall shower and toilet, a sitting room and a proper kitchen with a 2 ring hob, built-in microwave grill, and a large fridge-freezer. Madonna and Queen can each sleep up to six people, with a comfy double bed, bunk beds and a pull-out sofa bed in the sitting room, so they're perfect for families. Naturally, Queen is seventies-themed, and you can listen to cassettes, while Madonna's eighties groove is limited to a selection of CDs. The final pod to be completed, The Beatles, is ironically the most retro of all, equipped with a set of vinyl records and a deck to play them on; it sleeps four people on a double and sofa bed and also boasts a large wet room, because it's designed to be more accessible. Outside, each Pod has its own deck with a private hot tub and – uniquely – an 'Aquaforno' oven which cooks everything from pizzas to stews to fry-ups. With tremendous views from each deck, there's nothing quite like cooking up your supper with a glass of wine as the sun goes down over Cardigan Bay – and that's before you've tried the hot tub!
As for the location, you're well placed for great beaches – big sandy expanses like Mwnt, Dolau, Cwmtydu, Traethgwyn and Cei Bach are all easily accessible, to name just a few – while New Quay and Aberearon are just a short drive away and offer shops, pubs and some terrific places to eat. You can walk the Wales Coast Path and watch the dolphins and seals in Cardigan Bay. But first, you have to tear yourself away from cool sounds and retro vibes of your very homely LodgePod!

Facilities
One of our special features is our 60’s, aptly named Beatles LodgePod as it is wheelchair accessible. It has the same footprint as our other two LodgePods but without the cabin bunks it has the added benefit of a larger sized bathroom with grab rails to make life that little bit easier for guests with mobility challenges or in need of a little helping hand. Its outside space has paving and the picnic table is specifically designed to be accessed easily with a wheelchair. However, if this is not required there is still ample room to seat 4 guests.Suitable For
Suited to young and old, with the emphasis on single-family and multigenerational holidaying. Longer or shorter breaks guests are welcome. Minimum 2 nights.Nearby
The things we most love about our site and the area of the country we call ‘home’ is firstly the space - 9 acres of fantastic natural land to roam, run or ruminate. Breathing in the fresh air and the general sense of wellbeing the countryside gives you. Peace and quiet, (with the soothing daytime bird song, cows and sheep from the neighbouring farms and owls hooting their nighttime calls), giving yourself a moment to sit back, calm and recharge your batteries. The dark skies where you can regularly see the milky way, whilst relaxing in the hot tub. The fantastic 360° views that we personally never tire of. Away from our site and in the holiday season, the cheery hustle and bustle of young and old, singles and families enjoying the laidback seaside towns and beaches, together with quirky cafes serving delicious welsh delicacies and multitude of fresh local food restaurants and of course - the best takeaway ice cream and fish & chips!Food & Drink
There are some fabulous places to eat and drink in the area. You will be spoilt for choice. Our local pub the Ffostrasol Arms is within 5 minutes drive or approximately a 30-minute walk if you’re feeling energetic! Our personal favourite restaurants are very close by, The Daffodil Inn at Penrhiwllan is approximately 12 minutes drive. As a fresh-food restaurant, their menu evolves seasonally and is supplemented by Daffodil Signature Dishes developed by each member of the kitchen team. Locally sourced fresh fish is always popular, as are the exquisite desserts and coffees. Another favourite of ours is The Calabria, Troedyraur, approximately 10 minutes drive. A family-run authentic Italian restaurant combining a perfect mix of fabulous Italian cooking with fresh Welsh produce, specialising in a range of delicious homemade pasta and tasty dishes made from fresh local ingredients. Slightly further afield, but well worth a visit is The Pepper Pot Bar and Grill, approximately 20 minutes drive, is situated in the picturesque seaside village of New Quay. Whether out for a romantic evening or a meal with friends and family you can relax and enjoy home-cooked dishes from breakfast, lunch and evening dinner, including a wide selection of child meals, a choice of homemade desserts and extensive wine list and selection of beers and probably one of the most substantial gin menus in the area!Open
