Just along the waterfront from the M Shed museum, the Olive Shed is a waterfront institution and the ideal spot to stop for a bit of people-watching on a sunny day. Tables spill out onto the waterfront, while inside chefs prepare Mediterranean-style tapas. The views are great and the food is thoughtfully sourced. In the evening it’s romantic and even more special, making the most of its unique location – not just because you can sit by the water, but also because it’s tucked away in its own private zone, far away from the bright lights.
