This super-styled townhouse in the elegant Clifton area is a lovely weekend retreat and certainly the best place to stay in this part of the city. There are just 10 bedrooms and you’re in a good location for some of the city’s best restaurants. It’s also completely child-free, in case you’re after that kind of thing. The terrace is a dream in summertime; in winter the roaring fire and style magazines will keep you entertained. It’s definitely for those who want a touch of luxury: there are Ren products in the shower, waffle dressing gowns, a speakeasy-style bar – Haus – within walking distance, and the owners can arrange spa breaks for you in tandem with the chi-chi Clifton Lido. The downside is that you’re a long walk from the harbour area and any of the main, non-Clifton-based attractions.
