The Cabin Beach Café
Perranuthnoe Beach Cornwall TR20 9NE
True to its 'shack on the beach roots', even since a recent refurb this little gem has kept its offerings simple – beach snacks and sea views. Now less of a shack and more of a smart wooden chalet, the focus is still on ice creams, paninis and homemade cakes in the sunny garden, but on a winter's day you can hunker inside for a post-surf hot chocolate. Perched right above the pebble and sand cove of Perranuthnoe, the café beckons coastal path walkers, surfers and the bucket and spade brigades, and being a small place it can get busy at peak times. That said, you can't really complain about having to queue when a slab of delicious cake is only £1.75.
