There are squishy sofas to settle into while enjoying coffee or lunch, or pizza and flatbreads added into the mix in the evenings – and when the rain lets up, you’re only a five-minute walk from the lake. They also have three stylish B&B rooms above the café, all very cosy and decidedly chintz-free.
