Colston Hall
Colston Street, Bristol BS1 5AR
Golden-walled Colston Hall is one of Bristol’s key music venues, playing host to anyone from Jools Holland and Estonian classical musicians to rappers from sub-Saharan Africa and top-level comedians. It’s always interesting and worth a visit. The H Bar Café is a good watering spot, especially as there are frequent free music events in the space next door. When you book tickets for music events, be sure to check if there is another event afterwards – after musicians leave the stage, they regularly turn up for post-gig after-parties in the bar.
