Walk from Holywell Bay to Crantock Beach
Holywell Bay Newquay
Get far away from the centre of Newquay and take a walk along the pristine coastline. Make your start point the sand bowls of Holywell Bay (bus 587 from Newquay) and follow the South West Coast Path out to Kelsey Head, where you might spot seals and seabirds around ‘The Chick’ rocks. From here pad across the sandy gem of Polly Joke beach and onto the vast stretch of Crantock Beach, from where there is a foot passenger ferry (summer only) across the River Gannel back to Newquay.
