Designed with the British weather in mind, not to mention all those people who aren't interested in roughing it on their holidays, The Beeches is the ultimate luxury glamping site. As the owners Michelle and David attest, “The adults love to go into a comfortable bed in the evening and have a nice hot shower in their pod without having to go to a communal shower block”. Not only that, it's just a stone's throw from vibrant surfer town Newquay, yet far enough away to retreat from the summer throng, making it a perfect retreat for young families on holiday in Cornwall. Plus they’ve got hot tubs!
The Beeches is made up of four Scandi-style pods, each comfortably accommodating four–five people and fitted out with en-suite shower rooms, Smart TVs and double beds. Each has a fully fitted kitchen with fridge/freezer, sink, a two-ring induction hob, microwave, toaster and kettle, underfloor heating and wifi. There’s plenty of space on the site for the kids to run amok but remain within view of their parents – "It's one of the things the guests love most about the place — it’s very safe for children,” says Michelle, who with her husband have a safe haven for adults and children to enjoy alike.
As well as the luxury pods, there are various additions that give The Beeches a bit of extra character: three of the pods, Maple, Cedar and Hazel, have wood-fired hot tubs, dogs are permitted to stay in all pods apart from Cedar which is dog-free, and there is a separate undercover barbecue area that seats 10 that can be hired for a day and has mood lighting and a Bluetooth speaker. There is a laundry room, with extra charge, offering the use of a washing machine and tumble dryer, and for larger groups or extended family gatherings, the whole site is available for exclusive hire.
It's a tremendous location, no question, not far from the A30 and yet also close to the many beaches of Fistral, Watergate or Newquay Bay. The village of Mitchell, just a mile away, has a terrific local pub and you're well placed for visiting many of the other delights of central Cornwall – the magnificent beaches at Perranporth and Mawgan Porth to the north, plus Mevagissey, Fowey and Truro to the south and east. In short, The Beeches makes for a much better family holiday than a boring hotel or cottage, and is a big step up from regular camping!

Facilities
All of our glamping pod include your own private shower room with shower, basin and toilet. Our pods have underfloor heating, electricity and Smart TV’s so are suitable for all weathers. Each pod also has it's own firepit with BBQ grill. A starter kit of logs and firelighters can be provided as an extra to get you started and you can purchase more in our honesty shop. A welcome pack is provided on arrival with Cornish tea, coffee, hot chocolate, sugar and milk along with some Cornish biscuits so you can relax as soon as you arrive
In addition to our amazing pods, our convenient location and spectacular views, we have some other facilities on our site for our guests to enjoy.

The nearest local shop is in Summercourt, 2 miles away (TR8 5DN). There are plenty of supermarkets in Newquay – Morrisons, Lidl, Aldi, Sainsburys and Asda and a big Tesco and Sainsbury's in Truro.

We have spectacular views of the countryside and our guests can experience the great outdoors while enjoying luxury pod accommodation. Breathe in the fresh country air, enjoy the starry skies while soaking in the hot tub and make memories toasting marshmallows around the fire.
We have four luxury glamping pods, three of which come with a private wood-fired hot tub. Our accommodation is perfect for lovers of the outdoors, families, couples, walkers, cyclists, or anyone who would like to explore Cornwall and enjoy the great outdoors. We also welcome dogs in three of our pods.
