Overlooking Harlyn Bay, Harlyn Penthouse is a newly built, beautifully designed contemporary apartment, with three bedrooms and four bathrooms on the ground floor and a top-floor open-plan kitchen, dining and living room with sliding doors that open onto two large terraces, one to the side and one to the front. The side terrace has sun-loungers and an outdoor suite for relaxing in the sun, while the terrace to the front is set up for outdoor dining and to enjoy the fabulous sea views. It's hard to beat al fresco dinners here, or just enjoying an early evening glass of wine while watching the sun go down over the bay. Indeed it's easy to feel like you've died and one to heaven, or at least the South of France – except the beach, with its dunes, is much better than you will find there, and very safe to boot.
Harlyn Bay is close to other great beaches too, most notably Trevone, which is just over a mile away, and also just a short drive from the tourist honeypot of Padstow, with its restaurants, shops and pubs. Visit here for dinner or drinks, or cross to Rock on the opposite side of the estuary or to the beach at Polzeath. There's so much to see in this part of Cornwall, and it's good to get out and about. But even better to come back to your perfectly situated and tastefully decorated holiday home with views.
