Since Bob Lindo planted his first vines on the sunny slopes of the Camel Valley over 20 years ago, the Lindo's have become well known in wine-making circles across the globe. In fact they've brought the same recognition to the region's wine scene as Stein has to its food. Stop in for a glass of crisp Bacchus on the terrace, a spicy Camel Valley Red or – the most famous of the vintages – Cornwall Brut, and you'll see why the wines made here have racked up numerous accolades on the international scene. Whether you fancy a tipple, an alcoholic souvenir of the region or a full-blown wine tour, the estate is well worth a detour down country lanes or off the Camel Trail (between Wadebridge and Bodmin).
