Just outside Padstow in the beachside village of Trevone, these three properties have been individually converted and designed by Jill Stein, and are part of the Stein self-catering property portfolio. As such they make a fabulous and very comfortable place to stay – ranging from 3 bedrooms, sleeping 6 guests, they're all dog-friendly, well-equipped with wifi, TVs, DVDs, and all the usual kitchen facilities, as well as an outdoor shower, furniture and parking – and a welcome hamper on arrival. There's a wood-burning stove for cold evenings and lots of games, books and DVDs to keep you occupied when the weather is disappointing.
We reckon the location is as good as it gets in north Cornwall, just a few minutes' walk from Trevone beach – two beaches in reality, one with broad sands sandwiched between sheltering rocks, the other with rock pools and with a natural swimming pool at low tide. Trevone itself is an appealing village, there are lovely walks along the cliffs both to Padstow a couple of miles away, and to Trevose Head in the opposite direction.

These properties are located in the peaceful village of Trevone, on the north Cornish coast, just a few miles outside of Padstow. They are positioned perfectly for an activity-led holiday in Cornwall, being only a five-minute walk from the great surf at Trevone beach. You can also enjoy scenic walks around Trevose headland and daily fishing trips from Padstow. For those looking for a less adventurous holiday, the houses include a beautiful library of tempting reads, wi-fi and flat-screen 3D televisions with DVD player.
