Much nicer than it looks from the outside, the King of Prussia is right on the quay in the centre of town. Named after an infamous smuggler nicknamed "the king of Prussia cove" it is a 19th-century building, formerly used as a brewery before being converted for use as an inn. All six of the simply decorated, clean, spacious, and all pleasant en-suite rooms face the river. This spot is famous for its great service and friendly staff, that is always ready to help you. Breakfast is served in the bar/restaurant, which also has an excellent and varied lunch and dinner menu, with plenty of fresh seafood options. Not trendy nor chic, but one of the most convenient locations at the heart of the town and, in such a picturesque place, a room with a view is always what you're after.
