Uber is well worth a stop on your way to the Royal Crescent – a unique and rather special fashion shop, stocking unusual but entirely wearable clothes, and specialising in what it calls ‘Alpine chic’ for both women and men. The shop is the only UK importer of the Italian label Luis Trenker. It’s a shop that takes character from its owner, Christa, who has an eye for flattering jeans, oddball jackets and vintage belts, and will send you out dressed a whole lot better.
