Bath's coolest hotel with super-hip rooms, a spa and slick service

If Bath is a super genteel destination, here's its coolest hotel – the ever-so-hip No.15, with glorious rooms ranged across adjoining townhouses and a park-side coach house, in a quiet but very central location. No two rooms are the same, but they are all superbly styled and embellished with what the hotel calls its' magpie-like eye for art and objects' – so expect collectables, original artworks, screen-printed wallpaper, not to mention a vinyl turntable in each room (and a vinyl library to ransack). Service is spot-on, and it's properly dog-friendly too, with local dog-walkers on hand to help you out and a handy location near Henrietta Park.
Smallest (and cheapest) rooms are at the top, in the old servants' quarters in the attic – not a whole lot of space here, but you do get Bath rooftop views, and some of the rooms can be connected for families. Otherwise, there are gorgeous rooms of varying styles and sizes, right up to the Hideout, a grand, apartment-style lodging, with a huge bathroom, steam room and hot tub. Luxuries and extras abound, like the way that every guest can raid a hotel pantry of drinks, snacks, fruit and ice cream for free during their stay. There are spa treatment rooms in the basement, including the magnificent Copper Room, with its beautiful round copper bath for couples. Meanwhile, the hotel restaurant serves up a terrific modern British menu, starting with a sensational breakfast (spiced Bloody Mary optional!).
