Featuring indie bands, physical theatre shows and regular jazz nights, this intimate North Laine performance space is the hub of the Brighton fringe. It’s particularly famous for nurturing stand-up comedians – each weekend, a tough crowd of stags and hens piles into the downstairs cabaret bar for the Krater Comedy Club. During the Brighton Festival in May, the whole place is positively buzzing.
