A relative newcomer to Brighton’s booming quirky scene, this Kemptown B&B is as classy as it is wacky. The style is eclectic – think upmarket fleamarket, with retro album sleeves and vintage enamel adverts mounted as art. Out in the backyard, bespoke graffiti practically jumps off the walls. Everything, right down to the slogan – ‘come and sleep with us’ – is delightfully tongue-in-cheek.
There are 9 rooms and suites – all very retro and funky, with some decorated in a colourful 1970s style, while others have more of a restrained; room 3 is the 1960s cosy den to die for. Brilliant value, and a great location, too, just a minute's walk from the seafront and 10 minutes from the main action.
