Very urban, very sleek, this bar is quite a departure for Brighton, whose hard-partying locals have a long-running love affair with old-fashioned pubs. In this location – the newly-revamped heart of the North Laine – it works. The array of spirits is impressive, the jugs of cocktails to share are fun, and, cleverly, it’s not overpriced.
