The Yellowave Beach Sports Venue is the best new thing to happen to Brighton beach in ages. Its sandy (yes, sandy) beach volleyball courts are designed with both casual knockabouts and professional tournaments in mind, and there’s also a climbing wall for kids. The attached Barefoot bar and café is beautifully designed to blend into the scenery – there are even pebbles on the roof.
