Looking out over the coastal salt marshes, Titchwell Manor is about as comfortable and stylish a place to enjoy the North Norfolk Coast as you'll find. Fashioned out of a large redbrick Victorian farmhouse, it ticks all the right boxes for a short break, with 26 boutique rooms and a reputation for food that puts it head and shoulders above its competitors on a coast that's not exactly short of good places to eat. Indeed, in 2024, they made it once again onto the 'Top 50 Boutique Hotels' list.First the rooms. There are nine rooms in the main building and four in the cottage annexe, with the rest arranged around the u-shaped stable block 'herb garden' courtyard behind. They're all individually styled, with retro furniture, clean, crisp lines and a bold colour palette that makes you think of the sea. Price-wise, they range from the cheapest 'Good' doubles through 'Better and 'Best' up to the largest 'Signature' rooms and their new
Shepherds Huts. 'Good' rooms tend to be in the main house and cottage annexe and are a bit smaller, with king-size beds; 'Better' rooms are also in the main house and cottage and are a bit more contemporary, with king-size beds and (sometimes) sea views as well. 'Best' rooms are in the cottage annexe and stable block and all feature super-king-size beds; some have private patio areas and others have freestanding baths and separate showers, while Signature are naturally the largest and have complimentary soft drinks and Bluetooth speakers – and a couple have their own terraces with private hot tubs. The ‘
Shepherds Huts’ are double-bedded with a small living area that's home to a sofa and wood burner. These rooms have a shower room and a large partially covered decking area with a Jacuzzi and views over nearby farmland.
All the rooms have good WiFi, flatscreen Smart TVs, hairdryers and robes, tea- and coffee-making facilities, Nespresso coffee machines and spacious and recently updated en-suite bathrooms with White Company toiletries. Around a third of the rooms are dog-friendly, and dogs are greeted on arrival with their own bed, towel, biscuits and a map detailing the excellent walks in all directions, including the long-distance Norfolk Coast Path and Peddars Way. And for humans who come back to their room tired and a little sore, then the hotel has the perfect antidote – in-room massages and holistic therapies that will have you in dreamland.
As for the rest of the hotel, it's bright and contemporary, with a sunny coastal feel that's perfectly in tune with its seaside location. There are two options for dining: the Bistro and à la carte options. Guests can enjoy celebrated gastronomy and a more relaxed bistro menu courtesy of the experienced Titchwell Manor team, under the guidance of Owner/Chef Eric Snaith – his flair and delicate touch with flavours have earned a reputation for innovative and exquisitely presented Modern European food. Indeed, using the finest local ingredients and cutting-edge techniques, they've consistently held three AA Rosettes since 2013.
A tremendous country hotel with great food, this really is the North Norfolk Coast at its best.

Wonderful hotel
We stayed with our Pryrenean Frank, again at this wonderful hotel, where the staff are so friendly and attentive. Truly dog-friendly. The breakfasts are fantastic and we
had 2 wonderful dinners. Great venue to either relax in or use as a base to travel in Norfolk.

A lovely hotel
This is our ‘go to’ hotel in Norfolk. The location allows for easy access to towns and a winding wander down to the beach and the seals! Rooms are clean and have a real sense of peace to them… Food is lovely and the staff are attentive and personal, looking to meet your needs to make your stay the best it can be!

Super
Just back from a super holiday. Walks to the beach daily, great for both the dog and me! Room was lovely, doors out to garden. Clean, luxurious and staff attention to detail was faultless. Mouth watering menus superb service. Some nice touches I won’t write about as it spoils the experience!!

Just could not fault it
Ronaldo at the bar was fantastic at making just the right drinks for us and also making us feel relaxed and welcome always going that extra step. The food was fantastic whenever we ate, from our perfectly cooked breakfast served by the fantastic morning front-of-house team (even the dogs got a delicious sausage for breakfast), to the nibbles and snacks in the latter afternoon all the way to the exquisite dining experience we had in the evening. We just could not fault it. If you are looking for a perfect place to stay, dine or just take in the Norfolk coast. We would definitely recommend Titchwell Manor.

Scored them 5 stars every time
We've stayed at Titchwell Manor on a few occasions in the past and we stayed for 4 nights again recently, and on every occasion we have scored them 5 stars every time. From the minute you arrive you are looked after and treated as a special guest, and throughout our stay the staff were helpful, polite and showed off their hospitality skills to perfection! The restaurant staff are knowledgeable and make every meal special, so thank you.

Great service, super comfy, delicious food and fab design
I had such a great stay at Titchwell Manor, the staff are all really friendly, it was the most comfy bed, and the decor is so vibrant. The food in the restaurant was beautifully presented and delicious. There is loads to do in the area and after a nice long walk to go back and cosy up in front of a roaring fire with a glass if wine in hand was so relaxing. I would highly recommend staying - I cannot wait to go back. This is a boutique hotel in it's true form.
