Waterbus Ride on Regent's Canal
8 Camden Lock Place Camden Town London NW1 8AF
When you're tired of manic Camden, you can escape by taking a serene trip along the Regent's canal, drifting calmly along the green leafy outskirts of the Regent's Park from Camden's West Yard all the way to Little Venice – a place full of chilled-out waterside cafés, bars and restaurants. You might be inclined to take a picnic as there are some fantastic spots to sit and watch the people go by. Those who wish to see the enclosures at London Zoo would be wise to use the waterbus, as it can skip all the queues using its own private canal gate. A single trip takes approximately 50 minutes, and a return takes 110 minutes in total; or you can stop over and catch a bus back.
