Electric Ballroom
184 Camden High Street London NW1 8QP
Don’t be fooled by Electric Ballroom's small and slightly seedy entrance. It is seedy for sure, but it’s actually huge inside, an impressive vortex of rock beats, cheap drinks and cool people, it’s guaranteed to have great line-ups (Snow Patrol, Kings of Leon, Outkast). It’s actually part of the Underground station, and despite many plans to bulldoze it, it simply won't die. Just as well, as it remains a fantastic venue to go, unwind and get lost in the music. It also turns into a market at the weekends, so if spending a Friday night jamming there doesn't fill your boots, you can while away your Saturday rummaging through the collections of vintage, retro and goth fashions.
