KOKO
1A Camden High Street Camden Town London NW1 7JE
Oh what a crazy life this iconic Camden music venue has had! It started out as the hip Hippodrome in the 1970s, rocking to the likes of the Sex Pistols and the Clash. It morphed into the Camden Palace in the 1980s, and after that was somewhat neglected, with tribute acts and 1980s cheese nights prevailing. Since then it has had a bit of a makeover, and the repackaged, jazzed-up KOKO is now flying the main flag for Camden's music and clubbing scene, hosting high-profile artists from all over the globe. Whether you're an avid raver, or headbanging rocker, KOKO will have a night for you. What's more, the rooftop terrace overlooking the high street, is a blast.
