Stables Market
Chalk Farm Road Camden Town London NW1 8AH
The Stables area has existed in Camden since 1854 and used to be the main London stopover for horses to rejuvenate. Now it is home to over 700 stalls and shops, making it Camden's biggest and most eclectic market, selling everything from Persian rugs to antique pianos, hookah pipes to collectible vinyls in a vaguely Moroccan souk atmosphere, in which bartering is encouraged. If haggling for a bargain makes you hungry, check out the plentiful supply of varied food stalls ranging from East Asian to European.
