Camden Lock Market
Camden High Street NW1
The original and best market in Camden, nowadays spread over two large floors, crammed full of must-have antiques, unique and quirky jewellery, stunning artwork and an array of household objects. There is the occasional vintage fashion stall as well, although they tend to be more pricey than the stuff found elsewhere in Camden. There are also numerous leather shops with hand-made leatherbound books and diaries. The stalls rarely change, so chances are anything you see one day will still be around the next. The lower half of the market houses some delicious food stalls, ranging from Vietnamese to Italiano, and, rather handily, there are public toilets here too – although you you will be charged 20p to use them at weekends (the busiest market time).
