The Roundhouse
Chalk Farm Road Camden Town London NW1 8EH
The 1846 Victorian steam engine repair shed has long been an iconic music venue and is now owned by the Roundhouse charity, which promotes chances for young adults to express themselves through the performing arts. It also doubles up as great venue for already successful musicians and performers and new artists alike, recently hosting the massive itunes festival. As a venue, it oozes precision and class all the way from the endless amount of toilets to the carefully constructed stage. And the events you can catch here are second-to-none, from classic film showings and side-splitting comedians to rip-roaringly successful chart toppers and unknown independent acts. It's got something for everyone, and in any case the space itself is something to behold.
