Tatty Devine
44 Monmouth Street Covent Garden London WC2H 9EP
The second branch of Tatty Devine brings the funky-fresh East London vibe of the original Brick Lane store to this quirky little corner of Covent Garden. The window lures you in with its bright and beautiful, playful and puckish selection of jewellery and accessories – most of them designed by ex-art students Rosie Wolfenden and Harriet Vine, with some pieces from a hand-picked team of super-hip collaborators – and once inside it’s hard to resist the birds, anchors, name necklaces and fallen leaves; the foxes, the glitter hearts and maracas, all designed to make you smile. If you yearn for a Frida Kahlo necklace (complete with luxuriant tropical flowers) or a plastic moustache ring (that’s a ring decorated with a fake moustache, not a ring for a moustache), this is the place to come.
