Everyman Cinema Hampstead
5 Holly Bush Vale Hampstead London NW3 6TX
The Hampstead Everyman has been going since the 1930s and for much of that time it has championed an independent programme of films. Today, it is one of the best places in London to catch a movie. Sure, the tickets are above regular prices, but the schedule (two screens) is consistently engaging, the sound and projection top quality, and you get your own armchair or sofa seat, from which you can order drinks and snacks before a screening. What’s not to like?
There is a sister venue, Belsize Park Everyman, up by Belsize Park station, with a single screen, and similar set-up with the sofas.
